The Family Network establishes comprehensive cooperation mechanisms between families of people with deafblindness and multiple disabilities on the international scene.  Our main objectives are to develop strategies for the strengthening of families, generate proposals for comprehensive care for closest relatives, achieve the recognition and legal visualization of the specific needs of families of people with disabilities, especially in the area of disabilities that strongly affect the development of communication skills.  Our general objective is to establish strategic alliances with families of people with deafblindness and multiple disabilities and with professionals worldwide with the purpose of conceiving collaborative teams that facilitate the care, training and vindication of families, making an effective inclusion of people with deafblindness and multiple disabilities in the world.
